Should I talk about the snow? WTF it's Canada. What else is it supposed to do in February (excluding Vancouver &c where daffodils are due any time now)? I saw a comment somewhere today that questioned our governments' approach to legislation not being green enough and compared it to Bhutan's legislative approach. The critic then asked the quasi rhetorical question about which place he knew he would live in when the predicted apocolypse arrived. Yah, totally, like and no mention of the tropical aspects of Bhutan. So why wait? Head out now buddy, get a head start.
On a happier note, got an email from my daughter today confirming she is still in the land of the living, only misplaced to unniversityland. I do remember the days of frantic nothingness. Time went so fast. I did think I kept in touch though. Wow, just was overcome with missing my own Dad.

So, I decided that a bike fitting would be the best thing for me after all. I have had one done before but like all fittings, other than that done by my tailor, I basicaly ignored the resulting formula.
Do it. Adjust to it. It is the way.
Needless to say, many new parts now on order. But they feel great already in my imagination.
I am having someone else build up the new set up. I can't wait to hear their comments about the extension being seized in the steering tube. Why do you think you got the job? I am willing to pay to not have to deal with that one.
Then, wear off the rubber. Back to time on the road. Now if the snow will just melt.

I am presently dealing with a back problem compounded by a right calf problem. My physiotherapist seems to have this well in hand and I expect to be running again next week. In the interim, the bike goes on the tainer ...
